About MiPo Art

I am Minttu Polso, a Finnish artist currently residing in Nurmijärvi. Despite my professional background in science, art has remained a cherished hobby throughout my adult life, ultimately leading me to start my art training at Nurmijärvi opisto.

Similar to how simple molecules can create complex structures or even living organisms, I strive to capture emotions and fleeting moments through the use of uncomplicated geometrical forms. These forms interact, weaving together to create something uniquely captivating.

In my pursuit of translating these geometrical and cellular visions onto art, I perpetually aim for perfection, even though it always remains just out of reach. It's a stark contrast to the flawless art created using computers or AI. Nevertheless, I believe that this very essence of imperfection defines our humanity and resonates within art, making it a genuine reflection of the human experience. Perhaps the beauty lies in these imperfections, as perfection is illusory and impossible to attain.
